Edward Knittel
Vice President, Secretary and Director, age 30, has spent the last seven years as Vice President of eSquared Consulting alongside his partner, Edward Muldong. Edward has built the foundation of his career on graphic design, web page layout, front-end web development, and database design. He has become proficient in connecting the visual with back-end technologies by studying how design and human experience influence the evolution of applications. Edward's passion for visual creativity coupled with his intense technical background has made him very attractive for projects for some Fortune 500 companies.
As a founding partner and Director of Sales and Marketing for KennelSource, Edward leads with the designs of the company's marketing and promotional materials. He is a public face by attending Pet Service Expos, trade shows and ABKA regional meetings throughout the country on behalf of KennelSource.
As of late, Edward has been focusing on creating web sites using programming languages such as ASP.Net, VBScipt and PHP connected to databases which he designs in SQL, Microsoft Access, or MySQL. Together with his extensive understanding of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML), and Extensible Markup Language (XML) he is able to separate the content from the design enabling information to come from one source and move to many devices. All of which has proven to be an invaluable resource in the creation of Pawtracker™.
Edward graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May of 1999 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design and a concentration in Multimedia Design. For the last 5 years, Mr. Knittel has had the experience of working at various internet consulting companies. He completed projects for such businesses as Towers Perrin, Sapient, and DaVinci Software. Some of the sites in Edward's portfolio include:
